Service Information
Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 3, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Milwaukee Catholic Home, St. Anne’s Chapel, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Cummings, Ruth Entered into Eternal Life on March 29, 2010 at the age of 82. Resident of Milwaukee Catholic Home, formerly of Shorewood. Beloved daughter of the late Irving Sr. and Victoria (nee Perszyk) Cummings. Loving sister of Irving “Bud” Cummings Jr., Joan L.Cummings and of the late Dorothy (Paul) Friesch, Mildred Cummings and John Paul Cummings. Dear aunt of Dorothy (Paul) Keppeler, Rosemary Friesch, Elizabeth Isermann and Paulette (Will) Techmeier; great aunt of Kathryn (Vaughn) Heyer, Paula (Brian) Johansen, Erin, Gregory, and Erica Isermann and Michael and Andrew Techmeier; great-grand aunt of Aidan and James Johansen. Further survived by other relatives and dear friends. Ruth was a longtime member of the Lalumiere League, Zonta International and Beta Sigma Phi for 60 years. She enjoyed spending time with her “Lunch Bunch”, reading and watching all types of movies. Ruth always loved a good party, celebrating the holidays and spending time with family. She will be deeply missed.
