Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she served a variety of community organizations including the PTA, Whitefish Bay Women’s Club and various booster organizations. Faithful member of Holy Family Church, Easter was a favorite holiday, so, it was appropriate that she passed during holy week. A lover of flowers and birds and a wonderful cook, she could have written the preface for Better Homes and Gardens. Her chocolate éclairs were always popular at Women’s Club bake sales. She was a talented seamstress, and made clothes for her grandchildren, whom she frequently cared for. She was particularly skillful at writing and won many contests. In her later years, she loved to watch birds out her kitchen window, and made peace with the squirrels. Marion believed that love is found in the many little aspects of life.
