In celebration of Lila’s life, the family will greet friends at the Feerick Funeral Home on Saturday, April 17, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Interment will be private.

Walters, Lila K. Found peace on April 10, 2010. Resident of Mequon. She is survived by a daughter, Jamie (Jeanne Morris) Walters and a son, Daniel (Kim) Walters. She is further survived by three grandchildren, Megan, Michael, and Matthew, a brother-in-law, Harvey “Klink” Klind, as well as many nieces, nephews, and good friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, sons, Michael and “baby Walters”, a beloved older sister, Karole Klind, a brother, Herbert “Bub” (Elaine) Kremer, and her parents, Kathryn and Herbert Kremer. Lila worked at Shorewood High School and touched the lives of numerous children. A volunteer with Family Helpline, Lila’s voice helped change thousands of lives, including her own. Lila also worked to help shape Parent’s Anonymous of Milwaukee. She never judged and always gave more than she took. Your life, your moment in time Lila, will be forever held by all.
