Gewalt, Dorothy A. (Nee Woest) Found Peace on November 11, 2011 at the age of 89. Resident of Glendale. Born in Milwaukee on March 16, 1922 to Harry and Evelyn (nee Hegen) Woest. Beloved wife for 65 years of John Gewalt. Loving mother of David (Barbara) Gewalt of Lake Bluff, IL, Michael (Barbara) Gewalt of Lewisville, TX and Laurie (Peter) Rausch of Cedarburg. Devoted grandmother of Bryant, Lauren and Rebecca Gewalt; Heath and Sean Rausch. Dear sister of Robert Woest and the late James and John Woest. Further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. A special thank you is extended to her wonderful friends that lifted her spirits to the end. Private services will be held.
