Service Information
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 5601 N. Santa Monica Blvd (at the corner of E. Silver Spring Dr.) in Whitefish Bay from 1:00 PM until Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 2:00 PM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be private.

Flood, Mary Helen “Sadie” (Nee Wesley) Entered into the fullness of Eternal Life on September 5, 2009 at the age of 82. Resident of Mequon, former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Devoted wife for 54 years of the late Robert Emmet “Milo” Flood, M.D. Loving mother of Brigid, Robert Jr. (Tracy), William, Thomas (Jene), Joseph “Fin” (Kathy), and Christopher (Lourdes). Proud grandmother of Julie, Dan, Sarah, Katie, Brian, Molly, Sean, Brady, Marisa, Gillian, Thomas, Monica, Christopher, Carolyn, Natalia, and the late Matthew. Caring sister of Dorothy Geary, Willis Wesley, Carol Edwards and the late Eugene Wesley. Sadie was a member of the Christ Child Society. She found a great deal of joy in dancing and in playing bridge, tennis, and bowling with many dear friends. Her greatest joy however, came from cooking. Sadie had an intuitive nature for cooking, preparing from her heart marvelous meals for her family. Most of all she will be remembered as being a devoted wife and mother, raising with love her six children while also tending to the home telephone for her husband’s medical practice. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, siblings and friends, but there is comfort in knowing she has reunited with her husband, preparing a feast once again in heaven’s kitchen.
